A while ago I designed some stuff (paper + products) for LA based Ban.do. To announce the design I made for Ban.do I had to create a 10' video presenting myself. This is what I came up with. They will edit it and have different sound (I guess and hope). :)
I’m super excited to be a ‘Designer in Residence’ at the Los Angeles based Otis College of Art and Design – for their #otismfagd 2017 session, in July this year! Thank you so much @knikitas and looking forward to be sharing this experience with:

To mark the release of their Warriors edition, The Word magazine teamed up with thisisantwerp to bring 100 Antwerp Warriors, a 100-strong selection of local movers and shakers setting the tone for the neighbourhood of tomorrow. From design and architecture to contemporary art and politics, these are the creatives shaping the narrative of the future.
I'm part of those 100 (thanks The Word magazine and Dorien Schelfhout).

Nrmal, a unique music festival that takes place in Mexico City – curated a list of 30 graphic artists in order to collaborate in a poster exhibition that will be held during the festival, focused on international designers with a strong approach to experimentation and a very personal insight of design.
They invited me to design one of the 30 artworks that will shape the exhibition. Thank you so much Mauro Bonillo ♡

In 2017, I will start working on a 'Half, Hart’ book: creative people sharing stories about their Half Hart. Some of them will be shot by photographer @madsteglers.
Half, Hart is about always and never really feeling at home. Half, Hart is about belonging to more than just one place. Half, Hart is about trying to glue parts.
Read the basics here.
I am looking for designers, photographers, musicians, architects, ... that want to share a story about this and contribute to the book. Please email me at hello(at)stephaniespecht.com

"I left Antwerp a couple of years ago, and moved around abroad for some time. Back then, I felt claustrophobic in the city and wanted to escape. But all the moving was tiresome and I decided to move back to Antwerp. This time around I feel very different about the city. I sometimes think of Antwerp as a city that behaves like a village; everyone knows everyone. It’s surely linked to the people I’ve met over the last years, but I feel like Antwerp has ‘woken up’, with more and more independent shops and galeries popping up around town. Things have also changed in terms of music. People are experimenting, and places like Het Bos, which offers the most varied and eclectic program in town, are proof of this fact. I have to say though, i’m quite lucky to have encountered the right people who’ve helped to open my eyes to this beautiful and strange city."
One of my works is up for auction on Belladonna, in New York. You can place your bid here.
Belladonna is a feminist avant-garde collective, founded in 1999 by Rachel Levitsky. Belladonna was started as a reading and salon series at Bluestocking’s Women’s Bookstore on New York City’s Lower East Side.
