How can humans and wildlife cohabit in the evolving urban landscape of Brussels? Co-Habitat is a research project that explores the intersection of ecology, urban planning, and design, envisioning new ways for nature and city life to intertwine.
Featuring the CO-HABITAT atlas, this research maps out future pathways for biodiversity in the Brussels Capital Region, drawing from case studies like ‘Marais Wiels’, where abandoned industrial land has transformed into a thriving ecological refuge. By introducing ecological knowledge into urban policies and design, Co-Habitat contributes to a much-needed disciplinary shift.

If you have ever seen a talk by me you might remember how I mention the importance of water every time. From being a child on a sailing boat coloring in books, to my favorite Jacques Cousteau show when I was little, to being mesmerized by Oceanography students in Cape Town, to making self initiated work about water, to working with poems about water. And more recently I am diving deep into the work of Masaru Emoto. Last year I finished designing a book (with Piera Wolf) about Water for Julia Watson Studio (release this year). And end of last year I discovered Analemma_water (and I use their wand every day). I feel l also developed a friendship based on water interest with the talented Energy8medicine.

Human Design is a tool that combines ancient wisdom like astrology, the chakra system, I-Ching and more with quantum physics. I have been diving deep in it since last year. I’m a Manifestor Generator (1/3 Investigating, Sacral Authority, Single Definition, Martyr).
